You can flip back and forth in this manner until you are satisfied with the results. Always remember to refresh the News page window to see the latest updates you made.

- Selecting a File to Upload -
-
- Click the browse button and you will be presented with the standard browse window to allow you to locate the file you wish to add to your news photo library. On most systems, the "File Type" menu will be preset to "HTML files", which is probably not what you want. Pull down this menu and change the type to "All Files" before changing to the disk and folder where your images are located. Then locate the file, select it and click "Open" or "Choose". - Article Headlines -
-
- The headline for a news article will always be shown in bold letters. It should usually be short, captivating text to encourage viewers to read more. If there is a web page associated with the news article, the heading text will be linked to the "Other" or "Internal" link address. If you are familiar with HTML code, you may use tags to modify the appearance of headings further, but keep in mind that the text may be linked if a URL is selected.
-
- Article Date (or sub-heading) -
-
- The article date or sub-heading will appear in small italic text directly below the main heading. Whether you choose to enter a date, a sub-heading, or just leave this blank is a matter of personal preference. HTML tags may be used to further to modify the appearance, but remember it will still be in italics.
-
- Linking to Other Web Pages -
-
- Sometimes your news article may reference a page at another website (or a page within your own site that is not obvious) and you want to provide your viewers with a convenient way to click and read more. You may type in the full web address here, or copy and paste it from another source. This will be linked to the article header so users can click it to view the address you entered. "Other" links are always launched in a separate browser window so users won't loose their place at your website.
-
- Linking to Internal Web Pages -
-
- Sometimes you may wish to link an article to another page at your website. The Internal Link pull-down menu is a list of possible link pages at your website. Scroll through the list and click any page to link it to the article heading. Unlike "Other" links, Internal links are launched within the same browser window, replacing the News page.

You can change the image position by clicking one of the other three choices: Left, Top, or Bottom. "Left" will show images left-justified, with text wrapping around the image where necessary. "Top" and "Bottom" will position the image outside the article body text, centered either above or below it.
-
- Adding Photo Captions -
-

-

-
- If the image's title in your photo library is appropriate as a caption, click this link to set the caption to whatever title is currently selected in the Photo Library pull-down menu. If you want to use a different caption, you may enter that in the Caption text box.
